Administration

Are you gifted in the area of Administration? There is always work to do and acquiring the help of organized and dedicated people to strengthen the foundational core of The Father's House is essential. There are a variety of administrative opportunities available in several areas of ministry. Volunteers who choose to join the Office team will serve at our main office, located at 1171 Fairfield Avenue, and will have flexible hours that are compatible with their schedules.

Children

One of our greatest blessings is working with the young hearts that make up the Children of The Father's House. Qualified Children's ministry volunteers serve one Sunday a month following a bible-based curriculum that encourages the development and growth of a personal relationship with Jesus.

Greeting

If you have ever been to The Father's House, you probably know exactly what being a Greeter is all about. The primary responsibility of a Greeter is to ensure that each person who walks through our doors are warmly received and made to feel welcome. Kindness and smiles are essential for this position.

Hospitality

The Hospitality team provides a welcoming atmosphere to those visiting The Father's House and offers opportunities for the church to serve. They plan, organize and support most church dinners and meals and assist other teams with a variety of activities, including food service and decorating at various hospitality-related events throughout the year. This is a perfect place to let your creativity flow!

Housekeeping

Housekeeping is a crucial ministry at The Father's House, ensuring that we, the body, leave Willamette High School in better condition than when we arrive. As representatives of The Father's House, the Housekeeping Team cares for Willamette as if it were their own. After services on Sunday morning, they diligently 'erase' any signs that The Father's House occupied any area of the school.

Missions

Do you have a heart to fulfill the great commission - to preach the gospel to the ends of the world?! This team helps to plan, organize, raise funds, advertise, and teach others to share the love of Jesus with people locally and worldwide.

Production

This ministry encompasses all that is done behind the scenes in the auditorium on Sunday mornings; From sound, technical support, lighting and stage coordination, to the multimedia shown during services. Those who have aptitude and skill in technical areas, or are willing to learn, are welcome. Additional training and coaching is available.

Information Center

This ministry is the friendly face of, 'in-the-know' people. Team members display information given to attendees before and after Sunday service. Volunteers in this ministry are required to familiarize themselves with the richness of The Father's House and the offerings of our body. This ministry consists of The Father's House members who are personable and have a desire to, 'get the word out'. They are also responsible for the sale of Resource Materials. Training is provided for those who wish to serve in this area.

Setup/Teardown

Each Sunday, a group of The Father's House men faithfully coordinates all of the equipment necessary for our morning services at Willamette. If you would like to 'flex' your physical and spiritual 'muscles', you are welcome to join this dedicated group of men one Sunday a month.

Ushers

Ushers are tasked with organization of the Sunday service. They are responsible for seating attendees, collecting offerings, and assisting all who attend. They are servant-minded with a keen eye for detail, always looking to serve the needs of the body.

Web Support

This is an as-needed opportunity to help support the eThe Father's House.org website. Involvement is flexible and dependant on experience.

Worship

Would you like to participate in leading worship? This may include playing instruments or singing. It is a great opportunity to develop your own skills while helping others worship the Lord.
